ABOUT MIGUEL A. ELIAS

Miguel Abraham Elias is an aggressive litigation attorney known for his strong leadership, vast trial experience, and exceptional negotiation skills. Born in Puerto Rico and of Cuban descent, Miguel is fully bilingual in both English and Spanish.

 

He left Puerto Rico at the age of fifteen to attend Monteverde High School near Orlando, Florida. Miguel later moved to New Orleans to pursue higher education at Loyola University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing in May 1994. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in May 1997, graduating with a specialization in Common Law and a Civil Law Certificate.

 

In 1998, Miguel was licensed to practice law by the Louisiana Supreme Court and began his legal career as an associate at the Law Office of Neville G. Orrett, where he had previously worked as a paralegal. He was quickly promoted to named partner, practicing at the Law Office of Orrett & Elias for two years.

 

In 2000, Miguel founded his own law firm, Miguel A. Elias, APLC, which has since grown to represent clients of all nationalities across the State of Louisiana. His firm is recognized for delivering professional, high-quality legal services with dedication and integrity.

 

In addition to his legal practice, Miguel serves as an Adjunct Business Law Professor at Southeastern Louisiana University, where he shares his legal expertise and business acumen with aspiring professionals.

 

Miguel currently resides in Kenner, Louisiana, with his wife and their four daughters.
